So its time to pack up "the" bag...tis entry especially for my gd fren who is also expecting her little prince charming due two weeks aft me...he'll most prob be making the grandest entrance(last one to be taken frm oven) of all amg the grp of baby boomers! I've refer to one book to pack the stuff..Basically 3 parts involved in packing...
A)For Mum
1)2/3 maternity bras-i feel 2 is enuf
2)breast pads
3)maternity pads-5 to 6 enuf
5)panties/disposable panties-i've pked disposable ones
6)Toiletries bag-toothbrush/paste, comb, facial wash, lip balm, spray bottle to refresh etc-i've added compact powder to touch up
7)Spare plastic bags-For dirty washing clothes
8)Night dresses with front opening to nurse-optional guess hosp will provide their "costumes" for patients
9)Socks
10)Tissue boxes/pkts-i'm using pkts
11)extra pillow-optional(i'm bringing my neck pillow for comfort)
B)For Baby-might be optional if hosp provide the necessary (currently not gona bring)
1)nappies
2)stretchsuits
3)blanket
C)Your Spouse(ask hubby to settle his own bag)
1)change of clothing if allowed to stay in hosp
2)camera / video camera-to capture the special moments
3)Toiletries Bag
4)Wipes to freshen up(can put for mummy too)
If any things were missed while packing can always buy frm the shops at the hosp...me have halfway packed & definitedly my "labour bag" can't accomodate all mentioned...hehe see pic of bag, i did'nt buy specially for the occasion, it was a present from frens hor..I hope to carry my bag provided i'm going to hosp frm home...if not "hubby" has to carry it with style for me!however whether i'll emerge as stylishly frm hosp aft the delivery is another matter totally!">
